Our client, a leading top-tier bank, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their strategic project team. The ideal candidate will possess critical thinking, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the agility to support both periodic regulatory reporting and complex ad-hoc data requests.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain expert-level knowledge of HKMA and MAS (Hong Kong and Singapore) regulatory frameworks to ensure all reporting aligns with current jurisdictional requirements.
Orchestrate collaboration between Compliance, Operations, Finance, and Risk departments to institutionalize report ownership and clarify cross-departmental responsibilities.
 Uphold rigorous data quality standards by serving as the Maker/Checker for official regulatory submissions, ensuring 100% accuracy in all templates.
Proactively identify, assess, and execute modifications to reporting workstreams necessitated by shifts in product offerings, client demographics, or legal mandates.
Serve as a key liaison for the Regulatory Automation Team, translating business needs into technical specifications and overseeing end-to-end testing (UAT).
Safeguard operational continuity by continuously refining standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reflect the latest data architectures and platform updates.
Generate high-value ad-hoc deliverables and executive-level reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements:
3-5 years of hands-on experience in regulatory reporting production within a global banking environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Power Query, complex formulas) for manipulating high-volume datasets across various domains.
Previous exposure to Power BI or similar business intelligence tools is highly desirable.
A strong analytical background with the ability to diagnose data anomalies and implement scalable solutions.
A proven ability to remain adaptive and resilient in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple high-priority deadlines simultaneously.
Prior experience in Operations Support or Product Support within the financial services sector is preferred.
