Our client, a top-tier bank, is looking for a Post-Trade Business Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate would be someone who can bridge the gap between business strategies and technical execution, specifically focusing on strengthening risk controls, automating compliance checks, and managing project lifecycles within investment product trading.

Responsibilities
Engineer automated pre- and post-trade control mechanisms to align trading activities with regulatory mandates and internal risk policies.
Optimize post-trade monitoring and surveillance workflows to boost efficiency and oversight.
Translate business needs into technical specifications, including user stories, clear acceptance criteria, and a well-structured backlog.
Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and defect management.
Define project scope, map out operational workflows, establish key milestones, and set delivery timelines.
Monitor project progress, manage risks, and keep key stakeholders informed through regular status updates.
Establish metrics to evaluate the performance and business impact of delivered solutions.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a quantitative discipline.
 5-8 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or risk management, with a specific focus on trading risk controls and trade surveillance.
Solid grasp of the end-to-end trade lifecycle (from order routing and execution to booking, clearing, and settlement).
Familiarity with private banking operations and wealth management product offerings.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions on complex, cross-functional topics and build strong relationships across teams. Strong organizational skills to manage shifting timelines and navigate resource constraints in a complex corporate environment.
Practical experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
