Business Analyst Director - Health Insurance Sector

Our client is a leading insurance group with a strong Health Insurance presence, they are looking for a strong IT Business Analyst Director to lead their IT Business Solutions to excel in this business space. The selected person will lead a mid-size team to drive the end-to-end IT Solution Delivery and Business Solution Design. It is a perm position working closely with senior business leaders to drive impactful solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a mid-size team of Business Analysts, demonstrating effective people leadership in end-to-end business analysis and IT solution delivery.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to articulate IT solutions and business analysis, ensuring alignment with organizational and business goals.

• Spearhead the development of business analysis competencies within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

• Act as a liaison between business units and IT, translating business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.

• Ensure effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams, facilitating the successful implementation of projects.

• Drive business transformation initiatives, leveraging analytical insights to optimize processes and improve service delivery in the health insurance sector.

• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, ensuring that all solutions meet or exceed the expectations of internal and external clients.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a people leadership role over the past 5 years, capable of leading a mid-size BA team.

• Deep understanding of Health and Claim business processes in the insurance sector.

• Ability to effectively communicate IT solutions and business analysis insights to business stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Scrum and Agile methodologies, with the ability to apply these frameworks to enhance project delivery.

• Strong understanding of technology, with experience working alongside Technology Delivery Teams for end-to-end solution delivery.

• Fluency in both Cantonese and English is essential for effective communication with diverse stakeholders in Hong Kong.

• Bachelor's Degree from a reputable University.
