Business Analyst AI Transformation (Top-tier Global Bank) - J12954

Our client is a tier-1 global bank. They are currently expanding their digital transformation team in Hong Kong and are seeking an ambitious, tech-forward Business Analyst to drive the adoption of Generative AI across their front-to-back operations.

The ideal candidate is a tech-forward financial services professional who bridges the gap between banking operations and modern automation. You have hands-on experience identifying manual banking processes, automating them using RPA tools, and leading the transition toward next-generation Generative AI and agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate front-to-back banking operations to pinpoint high-impact opportunities for process automation (RPA) and Generative AI deployment, ensuring alignment with the bank's digital goals.

• Lead design-thinking workshops with banking teams to map out complex workflows, build early-stage automation prototypes, and define clear business requirements.

• Collaborate with data scientists, RPA developers, and risk compliance teams to deliver automation and AI projects on time, actively unblocking any technical or operational bottlenecks.

• Design comprehensive training materials and conduct onboarding sessions to ensure investment bankers and operations staff smoothly adopt new AI and RPA tools.

• Translate complex technical structures into clear business metrics to influence and secure buy-in from senior executive stakeholders.

• Keep the bank ahead of the curve by continuously assessing emerging trends in Agentic AI, intelligent document processing, and advanced machine learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related analytical discipline.

• 8-10 years of experience driving technology transformation or business analysis specifically within Investment Banking, Wealth Management, or Banking Experience.

• Direct experience delivering RPA solutions (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) alongside a practical understanding of Generative AI adoption (LLMs, prompt engineering, multi-agent frameworks).

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related analytical discipline.

• Strong experience working within Agile frameworks, managing sprints, and utilizing user-centered design methodologies.

• Exceptional capability to break down highly manual, fragmented banking processes and re-engineer them into streamlined, automated workflows.

• Excellent written and spoken English
