Business Analyst - Operations Transformation (Top-Tier Investment Bank) - J11870

Our client, a top-tier investment bank, is seeking a self-motivated Business Analyst to drive operations projects across the APAC region. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact key operational initiatives in a dynamic financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversee projects to ensure they align with both regulatory requirements and business objectives within the APAC region.

• Conduct stakeholder workshops to gather detailed requirements, create user stories, and document process flows that reflect current and future state operations.

• Analyze existing business processes to identify gaps, develop recommendations, and design innovative future-state solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications for IT teams to facilitate the development of solutions.

• Oversee UAT, coordinate test execution, and provide training to operational users to ensure a smooth transition to new processes or systems.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and promote digital innovation within operations workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years in project management and business analysis, preferably within the APAC financial services sector.

• Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and proficiency in business process modeling techniques.

• Strong understanding of Settlement/Clearing processes and relevant regulatory frameworks.

• Proven ability in requirement elicitation, user story creation, and conducting impact analyses.

• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal, enabling effective stakeholder engagement.

• Familiar with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Tableau for project management and data visualization.
