Our client is a leading investment bank in Hong Kong. They are looking for an Business Analyst to support a critical operation change project.

Responsibilities
Structured Business Analysis:Â Capture and map complex "as-is" workflows and architect future "to-be" operating models. Conduct rigorous gap analyses and identify system dependencies across the APAC region.
Requirements Architecture:Â Gather, refine, and document clear business requirements via Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, and detailed process workflows.
Business-to-Technology Bridge:Â Act as the vital link between business units and engineering. Translate operational needs into technology-ready specifications, ensuring technical designs align with functional realities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:Â Partner closely with Operations, Front Office, and Technology squads across APAC. Facilitate solution-design workshops with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to validate requirements.
End-to-End Delivery Support:Â Drive the implementation lifecycle by coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), planning execution paths, tracking defects, and resolving post-migration issues.
Governance & Project Control: Monitor project milestones, identify delivery blockers, and maintain risk logs. Prepare transparent status reports and presentation materials for regional steering committees.
Process Optimization:Â Proactively spot automation, optimization, and efficiency opportunities across the post-trade lifecycle to streamline APAC operations.

Candidate Requirements
Industry Experience:Â Solid background within Markets Operations, Middle Office, or Post-Trade environments. Direct experience in Prime Brokerage / Prime Services operations is highly preferred.
Core Business Analysis Skills:Â Proven capability in process mapping, structured requirement gathering, and connecting end-to-end operational workflows across various market functions.
Product Knowledge:Â Familiarity with multiple financial product areas, such as Securities, Equities, FX, Derivatives, or Futures & Options.
Technical & Solution Awareness:Â Ability to link business requirements to end-to-end system design, highlighting gaps and downstream implications.
Tools & Software Proficiency:Â Advanced skills in documentation, data, and planning tools (e.g., MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint). Exposure to automation or AI tools (Alteryx, UIPath, Salesforce, MS Copilot, AI prompting) is an advantage.
Problem Solving & Adaptability:Â Strong analytical skills to diagnose root causes and find practical solutions. Proven ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Communication & Stakeholder Management:Â Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex issues clearly and build relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple regions.
