Business Analyst (Customer Billing Solutions) –Global IT Consulting Company

Our client, a leader in global consulting and digital transformation, is seeking a proactive Business Analyst to bridge customer-facing operations and technical solution delivery. The role involves replacing core legacy systems with a modern SaaS platform to enhance the customer revenue cycle, focusing on billing, invoicing, and communication. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and document optimized future-state processes using tools like Visio or BPM platforms.

  • Lead the modeling of current-state customer billing processes, focusing on collections and communication workflows.

  • Identify pain points and efficiency gaps in the customer revenue cycle.

  • Translate business objectives into clear functional requirements and user stories for an enhanced billing experience.

  • Ensure traceability of all requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and System Integrators to validate technical feasibility and align requirements with the new SaaS solution.

  • Serve as the liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding.

  • Facilitate workshops to gather input, define user roles, and secure sign-off on deliverables.

  • Define test scenarios and criteria for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), supporting defect triage for a quality product launch.

 

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Process Consultant on large-scale enterprise system replacements or digital transformation programs (e.g., ERP, CRM, or billing platform implementations).

  • Direct experience with core financial/operational systems like SAP, Oracle, or major cloud-based billing/ERP solutions is highly advantageous.

  • A strong understanding of the customer service lifecycle, particularly in areas related to invoicing, debt management, and customer correspondence.

  • Exceptional command of business analysis tools (e.g., Jira/Confluence for backlog management, MS Visio for process mapping).

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders, negotiate priorities, and bridge communication gaps between technical and non-technical audiences.

  • A solid background in Agile delivery methodologies and experience working within iterative build cycles.

  • Excellent ability to conduct impact analyses and support organizational readiness activities.
