Business Analyst (Cash Equity) - FS Strategic Systems Modernization

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to lead a strategic initiative focused on upgrading and modernizing systems within the cash equity market. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that business requirements align with strategic goals, and to facilitate the transition to improved processes.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements to ensure they align with strategic business goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.

• Evaluate current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

• Validate technical solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and align with best practices.

• Analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making, providing insights into trends and potential impacts of system changes.

• Facilitate a smooth transition to new processes, including training and support for end-users.

• Coordinate testing activities to ensure quality standards and address any issues that arise.

• Provide updates on project status, risks, and outcomes to key stakeholders in a transparent and effective manner.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in a reputable financial organization.

• Previous experience as a business analyst or in a similar role.

• Knowledge of clearing and settlement systems or cash equity markets in Hong Kong or overseas markets is preferred.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
