Blockchain Security Specialist- Leading Securities Firm

Our client, a well-established securities company, is seeking a Blockchain Security Specialist to join their team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the integrity and resilience of their blockchain-based systems. You will work to identify, analyze, and mitigate security risks across our infrastructure, from smart contracts to decentralized applications, ensuring the protection of both their systems and user assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security assessments and code reviews on smart contracts, blockchain protocols, and dApps to identify and address vulnerabilities.

• Establish and enforce best practices for secure smart contract development, collaborating with our engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.

• Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches, conducting thorough root cause analysis and creating detailed post-mortems.

• Stay ahead of emerging threats and attack vectors in the blockchain space, proactively updating internal security policies and controls.

• Develop and maintain automated security tools and frameworks for continuous vulnerability assessment.

• Provide clear documentation and guidance on secure coding practices, cryptographic protocols, and consensus mechanisms to internal teams.

• Collaborate with development teams to enhance the overall security of our platforms.

Job Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Proven experience in blockchain development, with a strong focus on security and smart contract programming.

• Deep understanding of blockchain protocols, standards, consensus mechanisms, and underlying cryptographic principles.

• Hands-on experience with Web3 libraries and frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of security best practices, including secure software development, threat modeling, and incident response.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
