The Role & Landscape: Sitting at the intersection of data analytics and software engineering, you will be the driving force behind the microservices that power critical sales performance reporting. You will act as the technical linchpin, ensuring complex data flows are translated into secure, scalable solutions.

• Architect, build, and maintain high-performance microservices and RESTful APIs that expose governed metrics to downstream dashboards.

• Integrate complex upstream and downstream data sources, optimizing data access patterns for reporting workloads.

• Implement rigorous security protocols, including OAuth and entitlement-aware data exposure, ensuring strict compliance with financial regulations.

• Collaborate heavily with business stakeholders to refine requirements and map out end-to-end data flows.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: 5 to 8 years of dedicated backend engineering and API development experience.

• Core Stack: Deep, hands-on expertise in ONE of the following stacks:

  • Java (Spring Boot) OR

  • Python (FastAPI).

• Data Proficiency: Solid understanding of enterprise relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and analytical data stores, with the ability to troubleshoot complex queries.

• Security & Best Practices: Strong grasp of API security (OAuth, least privilege) and agile engineering practices (CI/CD, Git, testing).

• Domain Knowledge: Previous exposure to the Banking or Financial Services sector is highly preferred, specifically within Wealth Management or data-intensive environments.

• Soft Skills: A self-starter mentality with excellent English communication skills to liaise with global stakeholders.
