Azure Cloud and Data Solution Architect - Leading Insurance Group

Our client, a leading player in the insurance industry across the region, is seeking a talented Azure Cloud and Data Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate will drive a major transformation and re-platform programme in the firm. Perm position with great opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Design and architect end-to-end Azure cloud and data solutions that align with business objectives and requirements.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance in solution architecture design, enablement, and governance.

• Develop and maintain APIs to facilitate seamless integration and data exchange between systems.

• Utilize coding languages such as SQL and Python to build and optimize data pipelines and workflows.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of solutions.

• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance technical expertise and drive innovation.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience designing and implementing Azure cloud and data solutions in a complex enterprise environment.

• Strong proficiency in solution architecture design, enablement, and governance.

• Proficiency in coding languages such as SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.

• Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining APIs for system integration and data exchange.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Nice to Haves:

• Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Data Engineer Associate.

• Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.

• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.

• Understanding of insurance industry processes and regulations.
