Azure Cloud and Data Engineer - Leading Insurance Group

Our client, a major player in the Insurance industry, is seeking a talented Azure Cloud and Data Engineer to join the regional transformation and tech team. The selected candidate will drive regional projects, working with a vast diverse background of people on Cloud and Data platforms. Perm Position.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Azure cloud solutions to support data engineering and analytics requirements.

• Build and maintain workflow systems to automate data processes and improve efficiency.

• Develop and maintain APIs to enable seamless data integration across various systems.

• Utilize coding languages such as SQL and Python to manipulate and analyze data effectively.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.

• Monitor and optimize data pipelines to ensure high performance and reliability.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in designing and implementing Azure cloud solutions for data engineering and analytics.

• Strong proficiency in coding languages such as SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.

• Hands-on experience with building and maintaining workflow systems and APIs.

• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

Nice to Haves:

• Certification in Azure cloud services or data engineering.

• Experience with other coding languages and tools for data analysis.

• Knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Previous experience in the Insurance industry or financial services sector.

• Participation in relevant industry conferences or events.
