Our client is a leading financial institution with business worldwide. They are currently looking for an AWS Cloud Platform Admin to join their growing team. As an AWS Cloud Platform Administrator, you will be responsible for the daily administration, configuration, and support of the AWS cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with other IT teams to ensure a secure, scalable, and efficient cloud platform. Your primary focus will be on implementing and maintaining AWS services and solutions, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting any infrastructure-related issues.

Responsibilities:
Administer and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, RDS databases, and VPCs.
Deploy, configure, and monitor AWS services such as IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and Auto Scaling.
Collaborate with Cloud Architects to design and implement secure and scalable AWS solutions.
Monitor and ensure high availability, performance, and efficiency of the cloud infrastructure.
Implement security best practices and perform regular security vulnerability assessments.
Create and maintain documentation relating to infrastructure configuration, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, working with other IT teams and AWS support if needed.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patch management and software updates.
Continuously evaluate AWS services and recommend improvements or optimizations to enhance performance and reduce costs.
Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and industry best practices.
Contribute to the development, improvement, and enforcement of IT policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cloud administration role (AWS / Azure etc)
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification is preferred.
Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
Experience with monitoring and performance tuning of AWS cloud infrastructure.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Good knowledge of Linux: RedHat both physical and virtual environment
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in AWS.
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
