Our client, a leading financial group, is looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer to join their expanding team. You will be working with some of the brilliant minds in the technology space.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage scalable, reliable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure, adhering to industry best practices and security standards.

  • Collaborate with development, operations, and architecture teams to understand business requirements, recommend solutions, and provide technical expertise.

  • Manage and monitor AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation.

  • Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes using industry-leading tools.

  • Implement efficient and cost-effective resource utilization strategies, leveraging AWS services like Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing, and Reserved Instances.

  • Configure and maintain high-availability solutions, including failover and disaster recovery mechanisms.

  • Identify areas for improvement and implement proactive measures to enhance the performance, security, and scalability of our AWS infrastructure.

  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with information security policies and regulations.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues, working closely with development teams to resolve incidents and prevent recurrence.

  • Stay up-to-date with AWS technologies, security best practices, and industry trends, and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure.

  • AWS certification (such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is highly desired.

  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services with a strong focus on computing, storage, security, and networking.

  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns, DevOps principles, and infrastructure-as-code concepts (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Experience with Linux/Unix system administration and Windows Server administration.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent communication in English and collaboration abilities with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
