Key Responsibilities:
Serve as an integral member of the cloud transformation team, leveraging your expertise in AWS to drive innovation and efficiency.
Define, validate, and implement migration strategies and solutions to advance our cloud objectives.
Architect, deploy and sustain robust cloud infrastructure and services to meet business demands.
Develop and manage sophisticated tools and scripts to streamline cloud management and provisioning processes.
Monitor and enhance cloud performance, security, and availability, ensuring optimal service delivery.
Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring minimal disruption.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
Continuously evaluate and recommend enhancements to our AWS environment, staying abreast of the latest technological advancements.
Engage in system upgrades, maintenance, and disaster recovery testing to ensure business continuity.
Provide technical mentorship and support to team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
Install, configure, and manage both cloud-based and on-premises Linux/Unix servers and systems.
Regularly update and maintain systems in cloud and hybrid environments to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Create and optimize scripts to automate routine tasks, enhancing system performance and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
5-7 years of extensive experience in AWS cloud infrastructure management and Linux/Unix system administration.
In-depth knowledge of key AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC.
Proficiency in working with various Linux distributions (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Unix variants (e.g., AIX, Solaris).
Expertise in utilizing automation tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible, along with configuration management tools such as Puppet and Chef.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Exceptional problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities.
Superior communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in the financial services industry (FSI) cloud migration and hybrid cloud operational support is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and its integration with AWS is advantageous.
Preferred possession of AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional.
