AWS Cloud Engineer - Leading Financial Group

Our client, a leading financial group, is looking for a AWS Cloud Engineer to join the team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate scalable cloud solutions using AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS) to support business applications.

• Migrate large-scale enterprise workflow and orchestration solutions to AWS, ensuring seamless integration and performance.

• Implement and maintain disaster recovery procedures, conducting regular testing to ensure system resilience and data integrity.

• Develop and optimize cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and best practices.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate cloud solutions with application development 

• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

• Work with regional IT teams to align on cloud strategies, support cross-border projects, and ensure consistent implementation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud development and operations.

• Strong proficiency in designing and implementing cloud engineering solutions.

• Preferred proficiency in Python script development for automation and cloud management.

• Preferred experience in application development using Java, C#, or Node.js.

• Expertise in maintaining, testing, and implementing disaster recovery procedures.

• Experience migrating large-scale enterprise workflows to AWS cloud environments.

• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) for collaboration with regional teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
