The trading system is the backbone of its operations, providing real-time market data, trade execution, and risk management capabilities.

 

Job Summary

We seek a highly skilled Support Engineer to join our dynamic team at a major Fintech company. The successful candidate will provide exceptional technical support for Linux and SQL environments within our organization. As a Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the stability and functionality of our systems, ensuring seamless operations in the fast-paced world of Fintech.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support for Linux operating systems, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimization.

  • Manage and maintain SQL databases to ensure data integrity, security, and availability, implementing best practices for performance enhancement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical issues, improve system efficiency, and enhance overall infrastructure performance.

  • Monitor system health and proactively identify potential issues to prevent any downtime or service disruptions.

  • Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline processes and improve system performance.

  • Participate in periodic reviews of system architecture and make recommendations for enhancements and optimizations.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for system improvements and innovation.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux system administration and SQL database management in a professional setting.

  • Experience in supporting FIX Connectivity is a plus  

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Perl for automation and troubleshooting.

  • Strong understanding of log collection tools

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
