Our client, a leading brokerage firm, is seeking a senior-level Algo Support Analyst to oversee the technical stability and performance of our electronic trading ecosystem. This is a critical role within a high-frequency, high-stakes environment, requiring a specialist who can provide L2/L3 support to traders, quants, and external clients. The successful candidate will ensure the seamless execution of algorithmic strategies and drive continuous improvement across our global trading infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Platform Management:Â Provide expert-level technical support for the algorithmic trading stack, ensuring rapid incident resolution and minimal downtime for global users.
Proactive Monitoring:Â Utilize enterprise-level tools to monitor system health, latency, and connectivity, identifying potential bottlenecks before they impact trading activities.
Incident Lifecycle & Root Cause Analysis:Â Lead the investigation of complex technical issues, perform thorough post-mortems, and collaborate with developers to implement permanent fixes.
Change Management:Â Coordinate and execute system upgrades, patches, and feature deployments in coordination with infrastructure and engineering teams.
Technical Liaison:Â Act as the primary bridge between the trading desk, quant researchers, and software engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Quality Assurance:Â Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new algorithmic functionalities and software releases to ensure alignment with trading strategies.
Operational Governance:Â Maintain and optimize technical documentation, including SOPs, runbooks, and disaster recovery procedures.
Rotational Support:Â Participate in an on-call rotation to support global market hours, including occasional coverage for early starts or public holidays as required by market activity.

Professional Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
Experience: 8–10 years of professional experience in front office trading application support, ideally in Equity trading within the APAC/Asian markets.
Database & SQL: Advanced proficiency in relational databases (e.g., Oracle), including the ability to perform complex query optimization and performance tuning.
Operating Systems: Solid command of Linux/Unix environments and system administration basics.
Scripting:Â Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, or Perl) for automation and tool development.
Industry Tools:Â Experience with monitoring frameworks (e.g., ITRS Geneos, Grafana) and enterprise ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
Niche Protocols: Familiarity with the FIX Protocol and Bloomberg terminals is highly desirable.
Soft Skills:Â Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders in English.
Languages:Â Proficiency in a regional language (e.g., Mandarin or Cantonese) is a significant advantage for stakeholder management.
