AI Platform Engineering Manager

Our client is a major organization with large data and critical business services across the industry. The AI Platform Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a team of engineers to design, implement, and optimize AI and machine learning (ML) solutions. This role requires a combination of strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of AI technologies and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of AI and platform engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

• Oversee project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery.

• Architect and build scalable AI/ML platforms, including data pipelines, model training, and deployment infrastructure.

• Drive enhancements in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

• Stay current with AI trends and technologies, integrating best practices into projects.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data science, product management, and IT, to define project goals and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Maintain relationships with key vendors and manage contracts as needed.

• Monitor and optimize the performance of deployed AI models and systems, ensuring they meet the required standards for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

• Ensure compliance with data privacy and ethical AI practices.

Key Requirements:

• To be successful in this role, you should possess the following key requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.

• Proven experience in AI engineering, software development, and project management.

• Experience with large-scale cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and modern data ecosystems.

• Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and data analytics.

• Proficiency in programming languages and AI frameworks (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

• Expertise in CI/CD processes, DevOps practices, and platform engineering.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts and technologies (e.g., RAG pipelines, LoRA).
