About the Client Our client is a globally recognized, top-tier Insurance enterprise currently undergoing a massive digital transformation. To support their rapid scaling in artificial intelligence and digital enablement, they are seeking a high-caliber AI & Digital Project Manager to join their centralized technology delivery team in Hong Kong.

The Role Working in lockstep with Digital Delivery Directors and AI Product Owners, you will be the driving force behind the end-to-end delivery of a complex, multi-million-dollar AI and digital portfolio. This is not a standard PM role; it requires a strategic thinker with deep insurance industry knowledge who can manage multiple AI workstreams, untangle complex data dependencies, enforce rigorous governance, and ensure that new machine learning initiatives transition smoothly from concept to production within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio & Sprint Planning: Develop and manage integrated project plans across the AI portfolio. Coordinate sprint/iteration logistics, release schedules, and critical paths, ensuring alignment between IT, data engineering, and insurance business units.

• End-to-End Delivery Governance: Drive daily delivery activities. Facilitate governance forums, manage environment readiness, coordinate UAT, and oversee post-release hypercare for AI deployments.

• Risk, Dependency & Compliance Management: Own and maintain RAID logs. Proactively track cross-initiative dependencies (security, architecture) and ensure all AI activities align with strict insurance regulatory requirements and data privacy laws.

• Commercial & Vendor Management: Support budget tracking, forecasting, and vendor management. Coordinate with procurement to track commercial milestones and monitor AI vendor performance against SLAs.

• Executive Reporting & Tooling: Maintain standard portfolio artifacts using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, and SharePoint. Prepare executive-ready dashboards detailing project health, ROI, and compliance for senior steering committees.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven track record (ideally 8+ years) in IT Project Management, PMO, or Portfolio Management within complex enterprise environments.

• Mandatory Domain Experience: Strong background in the Insurance sector (Life, Health, or General) with a solid understanding of insurance products, operations, and regulatory landscapes.

• Demonstrated experience managing Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or large-scale Digital Transformation projects.

• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and SharePoint.

• Exceptional governance skills—highly proficient in managing RAID logs, vendor contracts, budgets, and enterprise compliance.

• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of translating highly technical AI progress into business-centric executive reports.

• Relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master) are highly advantageous.
