AI/ML Engineer - Financial Services

We are working with a leading organization in supporting the AI/ML Platform (TB PB Scale) for their Digitalisation Team. The AI/ML Engineer will be responsible for development and operation of cutting-edge AI/ML platforms, ensuring their security, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development of AI/ML platforms, including monitoring, logging, and deploying a range of applications—proprietary, open-source, or in-house.

• Develop and integrate services with internal and external APIs.

• Assess and implement new technologies to enhance our infrastructure’s performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Provide insights into the structure, status, and performance of the AI/ML platform.

• Collaborate with architects, platform engineers, and product owners to deliver software within a continuous delivery framework.

• Partner with data scientists and business stakeholders to support the development and deployment of analytics and machine learning models.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience in developing AI/ML platforms.

• Solid foundation in software engineering and system design.

• Preferred experience with DataOps/MLOps in large-scale enterprise settings.

• Advantageous familiarity with deploying extensive data infrastructures (scaling to hundreds of terabytes).

• Beneficial experience with public cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or AliCloud.

• Familiarity with technologies including:

  • Infrastructure: Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes

  • AI/ML Platforms: Jupyter, MLflow, Ray

  • Data Engineering: Airflow, Spark

  • CICD Tools: Jenkins, JIRA, Sonar, Git, Ansible

  • Test Frameworks: jMeter, jUnit, PyTest

• Experience in international team environments, with a good grasp of the financial services industry, is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills and a strong inclination towards data-driven analysis.

• Strong capabilities in team management and problem-solving; self-driven, innovative, and with a proven track record in leading company-wide initiatives.
