
Client Connectivity Onboarding Specialist
Scope and main functions of role
• Support FIX Client Connectivity application infrastructure
• Provide FIX Client onboarding services to JPM FIX infrastructure
The Role Title will take on the following responsibilities:
• Hands on support of all FIX connectivity issues for Equities (DMA, SS, PT & Algo Strategies)
• Hands on design/build/enhancement/bug fixes of existing /new Client Connectivity routing features
• Take part in FIX client onboarding for Single Stock, Program Trade, DMA and Algorithmic Trading Strategies
• Participate in key projects related to Direct Market Access, and FIX client connectivity
• Participate in the continuous improvement Client Connectivity infrastructure in terms Capacity & Resilience requirements.
• Perform testing with clients as part of client onboarding and new applications release/implementation
• Coordinate requirements of clients with client technology teams
• Work with global application teams in London/NY/Hong Kong on demands related to client connectivity
• Work with various local application delivery teams to provide end to end solution to the clients
Outline of role - priorities
The main priorities on which the role holder will be judged during the first 3months/6 months/year/1year+
• Able to provide day to day support, client onboarding services and bug fixes to production issues. ( 1 - 3 months )
• Ability to quickly understand the existing FIX infrastructure and business flow.
• Ability to work with various groups to deliver client requirements (Front Office, Middle Office and Technology teams in Japan
or NY/London) (1 – 3 months)
• Enhance the existing infrastructure to be efficient, high performing, scalable and robust ( 3 months )
• Ability to act as gatekeeper to production environment to ensure zero business disruption with any releases
Knowledge and Experience
Minimum essential to effectively deliver the key outputs
• Strong people skills, prioritisation working under pressure
• Strong hands on experience on FIX order routing
• Equities business knowledge (in particular FIX client connectivity)
